Green is the New Gold: Counting the Cost of Sustainable Events
Sustainability in association events is no longer a nice-to-have — it’s an expectation. But let’s be honest: embracing sustainable practices often comes with a price tag. In this Community Café, we bring together association meeting planners who’ve boldly gone green — and are ready to talk pounds, euros, and dollars.
They’ll share what steps they’ve taken to make their events more sustainable, what it actually cost them (financially and logistically), and what trade-offs were involved. You’ll hear candid stories, smart solutions, and practical advice on how to make sustainable choices that don’t sink your budget. And, of course, there’ll be time to ask your own burning questions.
If you’re trying to align your events with sustainability goals and keep your treasurer smiling, this session is for you.
